Chilka Lake, Orissa:

Upper Lake, Madhya Pradesh:

Vembanad Lake, Kerala:
The longest lake in India and the largest in Kerala, Vembanad Lake is a brackish lagoon. The Snake Boat Race which is the annual major attraction of Kerala is held on this lake.
